Our Annual Network Conference 2023 took place from 16 to 18 November 2023 at the Indaba Hotel in Fourways, with nurses travelling from across the country to learn and grow.

Unjani Clinic, together with HIVSA and Ikusasa Lethu, recently hosted a Wellness Day in Soweto, offering a range of free healthcare services for residents. At the event, patients were offered free hearing screening and eye tests, as well as free HIV treatment and education. Family planning services were also available.

Residents of Daggafontein, Ekurhuleni, will no longer have to travel five kilometres – often on foot – to access their nearest clinic, after the recent opening of Unjani Clinic Daggafontein.

Unjani Clinic recently held its Annual Clinic Assistant Conference 2022 at the Manhattan Hotel on the 13th and 14th of October 2022. This conference gave the NPC the opportunity to gather all our Clinic Assistants from across the country in one place to benefit from networking and professional development, while giving us all the chance to get to know one another better.

With over 130 clinics across the country delivering around 75 000 consultations per month, Unjani Clinic is proud to announce that our network has just reached and exceeded an impressive milestone – our 3 000 000th consultation.

The Kigali Global Dialogue, which took place on 10 to 12 August this year, brings together policymakers, academics, civil society and the private sector. The aim of the conference is to discuss and devise solutions for critical sustainable development challenges facing the global community today.

At Unjani Clinic, our aim is to expand access to quality affordable healthcare by empowering women to run their own healthcare clinic.
